Where I've been (and where I'd like to go)

I like to travel - something about the unknown, perhaps the danger of it thrills me. I prefered to travel alone when younger but now I like showing others more of the world.
The following is a list of places I've visited, more as a matter of record for my old age than anything else. It raises the question - 'How many countries have I visited?' The answer depends on your definition of a country. We in the west are incredibly arrogant about 'discovering' places. Did Columbus discover America? or Cook Australia? I think the original inhabitants may have something to say. Anyway, how many countries? Well: do I count Hong Kong, Macau, The Isle of Man? Seperate governments and when I first visited Hong Kong very definitely seperate from China, but now? Who knows? So here is the list in alpahbetical order.

Andorra
Australia
Austria
Bangladesh
Belgium
Bhutan
Botswana
Cambodia
Canary Islands
China
Czech Republic
Eire
England
Faroe Islands
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Holland
Hong Kong
Iceland
Isle of Man
Italy
Japan
Laos
Lichtenstein

So where do I want to visit next? Norway, also South America looks likely - I haven't been there yet.
Is there anywhere I'd like to visit again? New Zealand and Bhutan
Is there anywhere I'd like to avoid? Bangladesh!

Below is a map gadget I am currently getting to grips with, very much a WIP as my HTML editing skills are quite rusty!!! Eventually, it will reflect the above list (I hope). Thanks to Rachel Cotterill for the app. See it in her wonderful blog here: http://blog.rachelcotterill.com/2009/03/where-ive-been.html
